Information For Parents

Once you have joined the agency you can book an evening babysitter by contacting us on 083 333 6680 or info@corkbabysitters.ie. We then contact one of our suitable professional babysitters close to your home. We will always try to book babysitters you have met before and will always try your preferred babysitter first.

We require at least 24 hours notice to organise a babysitter for you.

Please note not all holiday bookings can be guaranteed for example New Years Eve. A first come, first serve basis will be applied in these instances

Once we have found you a sitter, you will be contacted with all their details and a copy of their references if required. The babysitter will then get in touch with you to arrange timings, directions and to learn more about your children.

Our babysitters always carry valid identification.

We ask that you respect our wishes and not rebook babysitters independently, not only will you be in breach of contract between the agency and yourselves (see T&Cs) but it also does detriment to the babysitter/agency relationship and detriment within our own agency bonus scheme.

Babysitting fees and requirements

There is a minimum of 3 hours and a maximum of 3 children per babysitter.
The babysitter fee is ˆ10 per hour*, payable directly to the babysitter in cash at the end of the assignment.

*note some dates will require slightly higher rates of pay for example New Years Eve.*

Requirements:

  • Children should be ready for bed or be able to get themselves ready for bed.
  • Please leave a contact number and any relevant medical details.
  • Babysitters can only babysit for those children on the registration form.
  • Please telephone if you will return later than agreed.

Option 1:

  • Annual membership fee ˆ150
  • 6 month membership fee ˆ90.
  • No further booking fees

Option 2: (for people visiting Cork and require a one time only babysitter)

  • One off booking fee ˆ15
